4 Your dog leans into you :
Meet Shep, a furry four-legged friend who was always by my side. He wasn’t protective in a Sheryl Sandberg-style manner, but instead, showed his affection by leaning on my legs whenever we encountered someone new. It didn’t matter if we were walking on a path or simply sitting on the porch, Shep was always there, leaning and ensuring my safety. His actions showed that he was a true LGD, full of love and devotion. Despite his protective nature, Shep always had a playful side too, making him the perfect companion for any adventure.
5 Licking Your Face :
Whenever a dog licks your face, it can be a bit unsettling if you’re not used to it. However, it’s important to understand that there are a number of reasons why dogs do this. One of the most common reasons is simply to show their love and affection. In the wild, wolf cubs greet their elders with this same gesture, so it’s not surprising that dogs would demonstrate their affection in a similar way. Puppies, in particular, are more likely to lick your face because they want to groom and please you, as well as showcase that they are not a threat. It may be a bit annoying or messy at times, but it’s all a part of your furry friend showing just how much they care about you.
6 Sleeping Right Next to You :
Our furry friends are more than just companions – they’re part of our family. And when they snuggle up next to us on the couch in the evening, or join us in bed for a long night’s rest, they show us just how much they care. It’s not just the warmth and comfort they offer, although those are certainly perks. Dogs have a way of making us feel safer and more at ease, and their calming presence can help us relax after a long day. So next time you find yourself curling up with your pup, remember that their love is more than just cuddles – it’s a reminder that we’re never alone.
