I credit John Cooper for developing a frighteningly solid list of Tampa Bay.

The Stanley Cup Final is over, and while most news outlets spend most of their Tampa Bay Lightning coverage crying over their salary cap, not their training or coaching list. which allows him to do things like Nikita Kucherov misses the season and is still doing well. John Cooper behind the bank did not receive his debt. Yes, he has a busy list, but he has also coached a lot of these guys on the Tampa AHL team and has certainly developed them all to the NHL level.

It seems so simple, yet it goes beyond more NHL coaches than you think. Being at home means you have the latest change, which means for much of the game a coach can determine what matchups are on the ice. They should really be a great deal for everyone. Vegas ’Pete DeBoer didn’t care or forgot about it, so his two front lines continued to slip into Phillip Danault or Jesperi Kotkaniemi, two of the game’s most diverse control centers. That’s a big reason why the great Vegas player became Harvey The Rabbit last round.

Cooper wasn’t going to let that happen, and he sent his first line of Brayden Point, Kucherov, and Ondřej Palát against Montreal’s first scorer, uncontrollably, line. The three of them combined for seven points and three goals, while Montreal’s linebacker Tyler Toffoli, Nick Suzuki, and Cole Caufield must have gritted their teeth in their collective skull. It was practically the game here, so if a team can prevent a line of Montreal scorers from going ahead, the Habs are pretty punchless. If Montreal doesn’t get more than 20 shots in a game, the Bolts will go behind in a second straight Cup.
