This is not surprising, as Wilson joked he dropped out at one of Carroll’s press conferences in June to inform everyone that the two are “always friends.” Last Friday, six-time All-Pro first-team defender Bobby Wagner he insisted every drama concerning Wilson was “a little flooded.”
Tramindui Adam Schein of CBS Sports and Jeremy Fowler of ESPN things previously reported between Wilson and the Seahawks could go south next winter if Seattle isn’t at least considered a legitimate candidate for the Super Bowl for the rest of Christmas. For now, though, Wilson says he’s focused on noting wins this fall.
“I worry about winning, that’s what I want to do,” he said Wednesday. “That has always been my goal, it has always been my focus, to win everything.”
