Morgan Stanley employees and customers who have not received a Covid-19 vaccine will be barred from entering the bank’s New York offices, according to an internal note seen by the Financial Times.
“As of July 12, all employees, contingent workforce, customers and visitors will be required to certify that they are fully vaccinated to access Morgan Stanley buildings in New York City and Westchester,” he said the note, signed by the head of the human resources office Mandell Crawley.
After this date, those who do not certify to be fully inoculated will lose access to the building.
The bank has already put in place “vaccinated only” workspaces in a number of lines of business including institutional titles and wealth management, the note said.
Morgan Stanley did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
