Looking back at the 1996 NBA Draft, 25 years later


This year marks the 25th anniversary of the 1996 NBA Draft. That draft, with 1984 and 2003, is considered among the greatest draft classes of all time. Not only was he full of solid players, but he brought in some of the most crushing players in the history of the league.

This project has its fingerprints throughout the 2020-2021 season. For starters, Steve Nash is the head of loads Brooklyn networks. Allen Iverson and the late Kobe Bryant are two of the icons that current players idolize and model their careers afterwards. Not to mention the greatest unwritten player in NBA history no hears his name on the day of the 96th project but will enter the September Hall of Fame.

So let’s look back at the historic 1996 NBA Draft.
