1. Cole Beasley
If you’re in western New York, you may want to get rid of anyone in a No. 11 Cole Beasley shirt, because it’s a decent sign that the person wearing it supports the lethal idiocy of denying the vaccine.
Grabbing the torch of anti-vax stupidity in Buffalo from Rachel Bush, The wife of teammate Jordan Poyer, Beasley complained on June 17 via Twitter:
“The players’ association is a joke. Let’s call it something different. It’s not for players. The whole world gives me 98 percent of people who are vaccinated don’t go back to being coveted. The odds of getting into the NFL and playing for 10 years are lower and they’re here. “
The logic of this is dizzying. Beasley says that because he’s a natural probability batsman, would he get COVID even if he had the vaccine, and that’s why he doesn’t want it? In fact, you don’t even bother to try to analyze it, because the next day, Beasley explained – sort of – in a Tweet Notes app.
“I may die of covid, but I prefer to be really alive,” Beasley wrote.
Which makes no sense. Just … get the shot. As you have the polio vaccine. And the vaccine against measles. And many other vaccinations that help prevent what we like to call “preventable diseases”.
“I don’t want to take medicine for a leg that isn’t broken,” Beasley wrote.
Okay, but do you wear pillows to help prevent broken bones? Yes? That’s what vaccines do!
“I prefer to take my chances with Covid and build my immunity that way,” Beasley wrote. “Eat better.” Beautiful water. Exercise and do what I think is necessary to be a healthy individual. ”
Do not build up your immunity by being exposed to high concentrations of a virus. Eating better, drinking water, and exercising are all fantastic, but they have nothing to do with the new coronavirus, which has killed more than 600,000 people in the United States.
“This is MY CHOICE based on MY experiences and what I think is best,” Beasley wrote.
Cool. If you make YOUR CHOICE of not wearing a helmet on the field based on YOUR experiences and what YOU think is the best, the National Football League will tell you TO LOSE because you are clearly a danger to yourself.
It takes a real idiot not to understand this now. Cole Beasley is that idiot.
