Correa: Vibes around Astros reminds me of 17 and 19

After a 29-31 2020 campaign, it looks like that Houston Astros are back on track in 2021.

The Astros are second in AL West with a 37-28 record, and star shortstop Carlos Correa see similarities between this year’s team and Houston’s 2017 and 2019 World Series teams.

The Astros won a title in 2017, even though it was wiped out by their scoring steals scandal, and they reached the Fall Classic in 2019, but fell to the Washington Nationals.

Correa’s comments come after Houston made it a season 20 success in Sunday’s 14-3 win over the Minnesota Twins. Houston has now won four straight series and is just two games behind Atletico Oakland for the AL West captain.

At this point, everything clicks for the Astros, and they look like a team ready to make another title in 2021.
