Tampa Bay Buccaneers captain Bruce Arians and general manager Jason Licht were awarded for building a Super Bowl winning team.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Buccaneers have accepted a revised contract for the Aryans that includes a salad. Licht also has a new deal that ensures he will be in Tampa for several years.
It is unclear how much money Ariani and Licht received. Salaries for coaches and general managers are rarely made available.
Arians is heading into his third season as Bucs head coach. The 68-year-old is 18-14 with the franchise, and that record should only improve with that Tom Brady on board for years to come.
Meanwhile, Licht has been with the Buccaneers since 2014. He’s been able to keep all the key contributors to last season’s Super Bowl roster, which is pretty impressive. Many players (Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette) has signed with the Bucs to join Brady, but Licht’s ability to secure signed contracts should not be overlooked.
