Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr. misses the second straight start

A familiar name was again missing when u Atlanta Braves he revealed his lineup, this time for Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Atlanta Ronald Acuna Jr. was not included for the second consecutive day:

Acuna was a late scratch from Wednesday’s outing against the New York Mets at Citi Field due to tightness in the back. In New York and Cincinnati, Ehire Adrianza took Acuna’s place in the right field, and Dansby Swanson was placed in the lead.

Acuna kicked off his 20th round of the season Monday night at the Mets and hit .285 with 45 RBI this season. he currently has a +450 probability of winning the Most Valuable Player of the National League, behind only New York Mets ace Jacob deGrom and Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres (both at +150).
