The two-star superstar took the W as the starting pitcher for the junior circuit, but he was Vladimir Guerrero Jr. which eventually stole the show. 22-year-old All-Star for the first time absolutely crushed an offer from Corbin Burnes in the third inning afterwards almost beheading Max Scherzer in his first boat. The dinger was Vladdy’s only success of the night, but it was enough to earn him MVP honors, making the second-generation stud the smallest MVP All-Star Game in MLB history.
