1. Corey Seager. Seager suffered a broken hand after being hit by a pitch in mid-May, and appears likely to return in early July. It will be interesting to see how Seager hits once and for all. In 169 plate appearances to start the season, it stands at 122 wRC +. It’s hard work, but perhaps a little short of Seager’s own standards, since he entered the season with a career-high 130.
